Azi and his team made everything so easy – from finding the perfect place in the right location to sorting out the details of fees and agreements. The apartment was lovely, just as described, and so well cared for. I will most definitely use them again in the future!
My family and I have had the good fortune to visit Jerusalem many times over the years. We have stayed in a wide variety of hotels and rental apartment, but we found our favorite this year at 12 Lincoln. This one bedroom unit is spacious enough for an extended stay with a large kitchen, sunroom, washer and dryer, cable, internet, A/C, and plenty of solar hot water. But best of all the bedroom is dark, quiet and comfortable. In addition, the location is fantastic with easy walking access to the Old City, Ben Yehuda Mall, Yemin Moshe, the Jerusalem Theater, and just fifteen minutes to Machane Yehuda. We loved it and are looking forward to our next visit.

We rented the 13A and 13B Bezalel apartments for just over a week in December 2013 for use by two couples. 13A is the larger of the two apartments. It features a couch (shown in the photos) that pulls out to accommodate additional sleepers if there are more than 2 in your party. The furnishings and fixtures are quite modern and the apartments are light, airy, and 13A is quite spacious in contrast to many other rental units in the neighborhood. The apartments are on the ground floor of a busy street, but we were generally not inconvenienced by traffic noises or street sounds. We arrived in the aftermath of the big December 2013 snowfall, and the weather was much, much colder than normal. Both Azi at the rental agency and the owner herself via her husband, were extremely responsive to our need for additional heat during the early part of our stay. We received immediate attention upon inquiring and were very pleased with their service. The apartments are well appointed with both dairy and meat dishes. There is a 2 burner electric stove and a microwave oven, but no conventional oven. There are washer and dryer facilities available and this made it very convenient to pack fewer clothes and launder them while in Jerusalem. There is a Shabbat water pot and some basic amenities such as a supply of tea, salt and sugar. The location was excellent for us–close to public transit and taxis, situated between two food markets (we liked the Ben Yehuda Market one block up the hill), near the Mahane Yehuda shuk, light rail, and a number of very nice restaurants. As is the case in almost all Nachlaot residences, there will be occasional plumbing odors of sewer system gas that enter the apartment. These are infrequent and can be handled by leaving the bathroom exhaust fan on. The fan has good velocity and the water pressure in the shower is excellent. You will definitely enjoy your shower. The rental photos are extremely accurate. What you see is what you get. We would definitely rent 13 Bezalel again on a future trip.

We rented 2 David Marcus during Sukkot this year. It is a charming apartment. The loft, the window seat, but mostly the extraordinary garden! We spent a lot of time just sitting in the garden relaxing after long walks in Jerusalem. The location was convenient and quiet. The apartment had all the amenities we needed — a functional kitchen, Wi-Fi, plenty of storage, comfortable bed, AC, and at a fair price. Azi was great to work with on the details of the rental.

Azi of Jerusalem Lodges provided me with top notch service, extreme patience and a complete and total commitment to insuring that my stay was perfect. Upon arrival everything in the apartment (Plugot Hakotel) was exactly as promised and all the special requests I had asked for had been attended to. I did need to call several times for small things that I wanted taken care of and he never made me feel that I was a nuisance and was kind and patient, most of all he always took my calls or returned my call within 5 minutes (a rarity nowadays). After I left the country he was very helpful in dealing with a few things I had left behind.I’ve traveled for 30 years and never found anyone in this field of work so honest, responsive, thorough, caring and professional. I will use him again and I highly recommend him to anyone in Israel who needs a top of the line real estate agent.

My wife and I have used the services of Jerusalem Lodges four times for one-month Sabbaticals in Jerusalem. Each time the owners (previously the Ellis family and now the Alon family) have proved reliable, courteous, and helpful. The apartments have been clean and neat and in the locations we requested. The improved web site now offers pictures of each apartment so the customer knows what to expect. Jerusalem, of course, is at the heart of every Zionist’s dream!
We rented a lovely 2 bedroom apartment (16 Rabbi Akiva) in Jerusalem through Jerusalem Lodges during Chanukah 2011. The apartment was centrally located; a 10 minute walk to Mamilla Mall and a 5 minute walk to the restaurants near Ben Yehuda street. It was clean, well-furnished and comfortable. The bedrooms were well proportioned and the beds were terrific. It had all conveniences of home (satellite TV; WIFI; microwave; meat and dairy dishes etc). Azi and his team previewed the apartment for me before I rented it, and their description and pictures were accurate. When I arrived Azi met me at the apartment with the owner, and they patiently walked through everything until I was satisfied. The owner came back at the end of the period to walk through the apartment. Whenever I called Azi he called me right back and answered any questions I had. I would happily rent from Jerusalem Lodges on my next visit to Israel!
